Senior Design Program Now Accepting Submissions for Fall 2018 Projects

The William States Lee College of Engineering at UNC Charlotte is pleased to announce the opening of the fall 2018 Senior Design Program for project candidate submissions. Senior Design is a two-semester academic course where students work on an industry partners design challenge. Project teams consist of four to six students across the engineering disciplines, who on a project scope that is defined by the industry partner.

Typical projects involve design and proof of concepts for a wide variety of areas including manufacturing operations, test, design, logistics, automation, Internet of Things, autonomous navigation, research, optimization, energy, renewables and transportation.

Students staffing the projects are seniors studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology. Concentration areas include Energy, Biomedical and Motorsports engineering.
