Normally, we offer a limited number of engineering tours during the fall and spring semesters for prospective and newly admitted undergraduate students and their families. The guided tours of one of our Lee College of Engineering facilities are led by engineering ambassadors.
As The William States Lee College of Engineering continues to observe the same safety precautions as UNC Charlotte for COVID-19, we have made the decision to offer limited on-campus visits until further notice. We are excited to offer a limited number of engineering facility tour opportunities for students interested in the Lee College of Engineering. Programs that offer tours will be socially distanced visits designed to maintain the safety and well-being of students, guests, and staff. These visits will be limited in size and all visitors will need to agree to strict guidelines, which include wearing masks or face coverings and social distancing.
We are not able to provide a specific date as to when we will resume fully on-campus visits. Until that time, we also look forward to engaging with guests online through virtual visits. A virtual visit is a one-on-one meeting with a College of Engineering representative. The meeting may provide the option to have a student ambassador join the online meeting (subject to availability).
