Mr. Andrew Straw

Project Portfolio Manager, Corning Cable Systems Andrew Straw is currently the Global Development Portfolio Manager for Optical Connectivity Solutions for Corning Optical Communications. He has been assigned to a variety of Engineering and Management positions in optical communications with Corning over the past thirty years. Andrew holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, an M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University, and an M.S. in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Virginia and North Carolina. Andrew is also a retired U.S. Army officer, having served thirty years in the Army and Army Reserve. He resides in Hickory, North Carolina, with his wife Anita Doran, and is a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
