49er Alumni Forum: Entrepreneurship II
The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association partnered with OrthoCarolina to present the 49er Alumni Forum! The topic for this forum was "Alumni Entrepreneurs:Educated at Charlotte | Founded in Charlotte." The was the second entrepreneurship panel after a successful 2016 panel.
Alumniner panelists gathered to share their stories, successes, hardships and advice to alumni and the Charlotte community at Byron's South End
One of the four alumni panelists was Lee College of Engineering alumnus, Ryan Kennedy, 2004. Ryan is a Charlotte native with over 22 years of experiences in engineering. Ryan began his career as an electrician and worked on large commercial projects before earning his degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004. He served as a project manager for a large electrical contracting and engineering firm, negotiating and building some of the most high profile projects in the southeast for several large companies. He managed and built over $90 million in construction projects and over 4 million square feet of building space. The Founder and CEO of Atom Power, he is an NCEES record holder.
